If you’re into MOBA games like DotA, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth and the likes, you’ll definitely love Legendary Heroes! The game is basically DotA for the Android and iOS! This app is developed and published by Maya and it’s free!
The only thing that i hate about Legendary Heroes is that your other heroes tend to battle enemy heroes head-on even if your hero doesn’t have any ally creeps. Also, they tend to follow low-HP heroes even at the enemies’ camp. I have lost a lot of heroes because of this. Hopefully, a patch will resolve this issue. Other than that, the game is great! Nice graphics and sounds too!
Tips & Tricks
Here are some general tips that you can use in Legendary Heroes. I’ll be writing a heroes guide as soon as I restart the game (I forgot to take notes while playing lol 🙂 that’s how awesome this game is!).
– Play a lot of Quick Matches. Quick Matches reward you with 5 diamonds (if you’ve completed the sub-missions) that you can use to purchase other heroes. Also, the Campaign lasts only up to 40 quests (400 diamonds total). This won’t be enough to purchase other heroes so you’ll really need to play Quick Matches. Moreover, these matches will allow you to get a feel on each heroes and help you choose your team.
Note: Quick Matches are set depending on the last Campaign you’ve played. I suggest that you play a lower level campaign first and then play a quick match so you can surely get the 5 diamonds. Also, heroes don’t gain experience on Quick Matches
– Choose your heroes wisely especially in Campaign mode. Heroes level up in Campaign mode and you’ll probably be stuck with your chosen set for the rest of the Campaign.
– Always watch the mini map! AI heroes tend to go full retard and head on to fight loads of enemies. This has cost me a lot of heroes.
– Prioritize buying permanent items specifically Blood Amulet, Many-pointed Charm and Boots of Speed. Rather than buy heroes, buy these items first. They’ll help you in battle. Also, you can equip them anytime. Don’t bother on buying other items such as temporary ones and the other three permanent items that give bonus to armor and attack (the bonuses are too small). Unless, of course, you have loads of gold coins to spend.
The game is definitely tapworthy though you’ll probably need to spend some real cash if you want to enjoy it fully. Nevertheless, it’s a great app and you’d enjoy playing the game even if you don’t unlock all the heroes. You should try this app!
